Answering Your Employees’ Questions about Taxes and the ACA’s Form 1095 Documents

All clients of CBG Benefits are encouraged to download this new employee-facing ACA educational document from CBGconnectWhile the recent deadline extension for distributing Form 1095-C to employees brought temporary relief to many employers, it also raised questions among some employees. For example, some may be asking, “Do I need to wait until I receive all of the Form 1095 documents before I file my taxes?

To help our clients address those types of questions, we are pleased to share a new resource. Entitled “Tax Forms 1095-A, 1095-B & 1095-C“, the article provides common questions and answers from the IRS about the new reporting documents that will be issued under the Affordable Care Act.

In addition, this article provides an easy-to-understand chart that highlights the differences between the three Form 1095 documents, including which employees may receive them and when. It also answers questions such as:
